HEADS UP — Marvdle is a free, fan-made daily puzzle. By using this site, you agree to the terms below. They're written plainly because lawyers in capes are still lawyers.
① The Game
Marvdle ("the Site," "the Game") is a daily Marvel-themed character guessing game operated by VOIDSTAR LABS ("we," "us"). Access is currently free of charge. We may add, remove, change, pause, or retire features at any time without notice.
② Marvel Intellectual Property
Marvdle is an unofficial fan project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Marvel Entertainment, Marvel Studios, The Walt Disney Company, or any of their subsidiaries. All Marvel character names, likenesses, biographical data, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. Reference materials are used for the limited purpose of identifying characters in a guessing puzzle, which we believe constitutes fair use. If a rights-holder asks us to remove specific content, we will.
③ Acceptable Use
Don't try to break the Site. That includes (but is not limited to): scraping at high volume, attempting to defeat rate limits, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, distributing the source under a different name, or using Marvdle in any unlawful way. Bug reports sent in good faith are welcome and appreciated.
④ User Content
You don't create accounts on Marvdle. The only data you supply is the character name you guess. Don't paste personally identifying or harmful content into the input field — it would be saved in your browser's local storage and could be embarrassing later.
⑤ No Warranty
The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of trivia, that today's mystery is solvable on your first try, or that you'll keep your streak alive on a Tuesday with bad Wi-Fi.
⑥ Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VOIDSTAR LABS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, even if we've been advised that wagering your dignity on a streak is a bad idea.
⑦ Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
⑧ Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
